Description:

Adds a namer to Vanilla Factions Expanded – Settlers, Rimworld Westernization Project (Continued), and/or Early Industrial Societies and also a very minor patch that adds the Rimsenal Style Pack – Murica to the settler’s culture if you have that mod active.

This is going to sound weird, but I relax by doing monotonous things and putting names on a list is nice, monotonous, and not very hard to bugfix. It’s finals season and I need something mindless to do. I was surprised to see that the Settlers’ factions didn’t have a dedicated namer, so I went ahead and made one, featuring names popular in late 19th century/early 20th century America!

I also did the ridiculously tedious task of matching all the names that had nicknames to their matching nickname. Now, you will see Allison "Allie" or Aloysius "Louie" and similar combinations. I’ve also added random nicknames based on cowboy nicknames that some pawns can still end up with. I also added Native American names since they were pretty important back then. Not many, but you’ll know them when you see them.

Also also, I thought it was cute, I added a little patch that makes Rimsenal Style Pack – Murica automatically appear for the Settlers’ culture if you have the mod active in your mod list. Might as well have one of the cultures use it since apparently the Settler factions are at industrial level. If someone asks, I’ll probably make it an XML Extensions patch in case you want to use both but don’t want the Settlers’ factions to use it and don’t feel like removing the style from their ideology yourself.

Update:
I learned about Rimworld Westernization Project (Continued) and I wanted to make a patch for it, but I discovered that the mod (1) didn’t have player factions, (2) didn’t have player pawnkinds, and (3) didn’t have any culture or namers. So, I made the decision to make player factions and pawnkinds to match the mod’s two starting scenarios, as well as a culture for all of its factions. I also went ahead and made two settlement namers (one that is more farm/homestead based and one that is based on real life towns/ghost towns) and two faction namers (one that uses parts of the settlement namer and one based loosely on gangs from the Wild West). I have also applied this to the Vanilla Factions Expanded – Settlers settlements and factions, so you might notice the difference in world generation.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I made a discussion in case you have any ideas for additions!
