Description:

Currently, this mod can be only used in Immortal Empires campaigns. It won’t work in Chaos realms campaign and will cause crash.

This mod lets you enjoy the ogre mercenaries system from WH2. When the camp is summoned, go to the marker and choose the appropriate mercenary from the dilemma.

Summon conditions are as follows:
1. At least 10 turns have passed since the start of the game and there is a cooldown of 20 turns for the next spawn.
2. Raid a region: 10% spawn chance.
3. Fight a battle: 10%
4. Settlement occupation: 20%

AI also uses this feature.

To see the ogre camps, you must start a new game with this mod, however,

You can use MCT and check the enable check box in your mid-game and close the MCT window to activate it. However, you must uncheck it after, or all your ogre mercenaries in the pool will be lost for every option change in MCT you make.

You can also change the cooldown and minimum turn in the options.

FAQ

Q. There was a Ogre encampment with a red ring in the WH2. What is quest marker doing in there?

I can use a simple ogre encampment, but that way, it will not have a glowing effect and far from recognizable on the map.

Q. I’m using your buttons mode and because of that, Maneater pistol is also present at the RoR panel
A. Yeah, having multiple groups on ‘mercenary_unit_groups_tables’ doesn’t work. I really don’t wanna create a new unit for it and I think we have to bear with it.

Q. There is already another mod that does the same thing.
A. I failed to find it. Please share it with others in the comment section.

Q. I don’t hear ‘Ogres my lord’
A. I don’t know how to put it.

Q. Why does it not work in the Realm of Chaos campaign?
A. The whole interactive marker system isn’t active in RoC and that is causing the problem. Would be risky if I try to touch it with my mods

Recovered Ogre mutiny events which trigger when you go to Bankruptcy while recruiting Ogres.
2022/12/19: Added Ogre events movies file from WH2. Now event pictures (Ogres arrive, mutiny) will move just like WH2.
2022/12/23: Added a bunch of texts in the Ogre Mercenaries recruitment panel as I found out how to add them.
