Scaryami
Scaryami was an assassin, and quite a good one, too. His dagger, once used as an implement of sacrifice, had a unique property; those killed with it would become ethereal, like shadow, and disappear, leaving no trace left.
Once, however, Scaryami had a special target. A purple-hued creature, one said to hold dark power. When he found them, he struck; but the fight was hopeless, and he fled, terrified and wounded.
A terrible creature of abyss formed within that wound and grew. Soon, he believed, he would no longer be able to fight it. So in a desperate attempt to save his life, he used his dagger to rend that creature from himself. The magic in the dagger reacted with the creature, and all of the abyssal creature, the dagger, and Scaryami himself, merged together.
Not quite abyssal, and not quite shadow, Scaryami gained new power that day; a darkness all his own.

Introducing Scaryami, the Accursed Fiend! An edgy cat man. Created as part of a workshop challenge, Scaryami’s entire development, from design to concepts to art to coding, was finished in only seven days.

Moveset:
DSpecial – Summon Void: Create a Void Orb. Requires filling your Void Core by landing hits; pay attention to the indicator on your hud if you lose track. Void orbs emit Void Fields that increase your damage; this effect stacks AND you can have up to six at once! Be careful, though; enemies hitting them with attacks causes them to break after two hits.
FSpecial – Warp Rush: Charge up while stationally, then release to blast off. Charge cannot be held or stored, so be careful; you may end up going too fast. You are invincible while travelling, but will lose this invincibility as soon as you hit something. While standing in the influence of a Void Field, the rate at which this charges and the maximum charge are significantly increased!
NSpecial – Black Nova: Slowly and gently rise, then blast into a shockwave. While charging up, this pulls your orbs towards you, allowing you to get them into more favorable position; the move also does radial knockback, so you can spike people with it!
USpecial – Sky Shear: Transform your dagger into a claw and launch upwards with a claw slash. Normally weak, but becomes a strong command grab while standing in a Void Field. Also scales exponentially; with six fields at once, Sky Shear does incredible damage and knockback!
