Minos Bulls
While the parents of tainted children often leave their beastmen offspring to die in the wilds, some give them to temples of Shallya instead, in the hopes that they might remove their taint. In most cases they are forced to enact a grim form of mercy, but in some the taint can be lessened, creating a minos child. Minos look more human than minotaur, and are surprisingly gentle despite their size, preferring a life of farming instead of warfare, and often start families with other minos. When drafted however, their brute strength is a welcome sight to any peasant who can ignore their monstrous traits. Minos frequently consume an alcoholic beverage called Chateau Romani, which consists out of milk and a bugman’s brew, its recipe taught to them by one of bugman’s famed brewers long ago. It is known for its great taste, as well as its healing properties.
Minos Runts
Minos Runts are born from minos and human parents. While most peasants were weary at first, the minos have proven themselves to be gifted farmers, whose steady supply of food even caused some Bretonnian lords to reduce the peasant tax from 90% to 80%. Minos Runts are usually born from minos fathers and human mothers, under duress from Bretonnian lords seeking to add more minos to their armies. These runts and their mothers are however treated kindly by the minos, who provide both with plenty of Chateau Romani, an alcoholic beverage known for its healing properties, to ease their burdens.
