Tape has a stance change mechanic in that it can jump off its dispenser to gain access to a new moveset and move more swiftly, at the cost of some weight and kill power. To do that, use its specials. Use neutral special for a quick switch. When dispenser-less, you can also use neutral special again to restore the dispenser back. Dash forward like a wheel with its forward special, Roll Out – using it out of the dispenser makes it come pre-charged! Drill down on your foes with Sticky Drill, its down special. Jump off your dispenser on your up special, or if you already don’t have it, uppercut your foes with your tape! You can also use a down aerial to take out a piece of your tape and place it on the ground in order to stun foes.
