Designed as a cheap semi automatic rifle for the Volkssturm,the MP507 was a gas delayed rifle that really worked more like a pistol.It was extremely crude,built with whatever materials were avaliable (hence the common picture of both wooden parts being different tones),the weapon was relatively inaccurate compared to most rifles of the time,but still relatively useful as a last ditch weapon.About 10000 were built in 1945,and most likely saw combat service
