Unlimited Customizable Ethics
Unlimited Customizable Ethics is my updated version of Religion customizable sins and virtues mod by Karax.
As Karax obiously does not maintain his mod at the moment, but a lot of players are using it, I‘ve made an updated version of this mod. All credits belong to Karax, as I never would be able to develop such a mod, I‘m just able to maintain it.
This mod allows to select Sins and Virtues on faith creation and will overwrite default faith Sins & Virtues, if selected opposite. Up to 16 Sins and 16 Virtues can be chosen out of more than 90 traits of all types. The traits Disloyal, Loyal and Pure-blooded were added by me.
There are 4 levels of Sins and Virtues and each level will give an opinion and piety modifier:
* 8 sins/virtues of level 1 (-/+ 10 opinion and -/+ 1 piety),
* 4 sins/virtues of level 2 (-/+ 20 opinion and -/+ 2 piety),
* 2 sins/virtues of level 3 (-/+ 30 opinion and -/+ 3 piety),
* 2 sins/virtues of level 5 (-/+ 50 opinion and -/+ 5 piety).
For multi-level traits these modifiers will be equally distributed. For example: Assigning Blademaster to virtue level 5 will set Legendary Blademaster to 5, Blademaster to 3 and Aspiring Blademaster to 1 of Virtue level.
This mod contains an English and a German localization made by myself and a French localization made by SkyDroxy. For all other standard languages, I added a localization using the English language.
This mod will not be compatible with any other mod, that also modifies the window_faith_creation.gui file, except for my More Tenets Slots mod, as these mods are compatible by design. But Unlimited Customizable Ethics should placed below that mod in loading order.
Note: I merged this mod into my updated version of Karax More Religion Tenets Slots mod. Therefore, all patches I’ve made and will make in the future for that More Tenets Slots + Unl. Customizable Ethics mod, will work as well with this Customizable Sins And Virtues mod.
Compatibility Patches for Total Conversion Mods as Elder Kings 2, Princes of Darkness, Godherja: The Dying World or LotR: Realms in Exile are excluded. Because these mods are using modified vanilla Tenets or have an own system of sins and virtues, the compatches will only support the More Tenets Slots feature. For this reason this Unlimited Customizable Ethics mod is incompatible with these patches.
The recommended loading order is
– More Tenets Slots (if installed)
– Unlimited Customizable Ethics
– Any patch made for More Tenets Slots + Unl. Customizable Ethics
This mod is compatible with any existing save and also with ironman, but not with achievements.
