Anglara
Anglara returns once more, this time to settle a grudge and protect her loved ones! Though she has lost her lantern, her martial arts have improved, giving her a unique playstyle from before. This expansion of power allows her to directly channel her light into her attacks!
Anglara has a few reworks to help polish the character in the direction i want to continue in. These help break up some redundancy as well as give a few new options and visuals!
– Ftilt rework, a demonic sweep attack followed by a devilish hook attack. This attack has been honed from many years of martial arts mastery.
– Uspecial rework. Instead of the old projectile attack, pressing down+special during uspecials ascent will activate a new leg drop attack! You can only perform this attack if you haven’t hit with the initial uspecial attack.
– New lure light orb visual! Lure light is now a unique light construct!
– Collegiate alt added for anglara. This sporty alt grants anglara a unique basketball light orb!
Anglara receives a few new moves and adjustments! Some are balance updates from the community while others are new features! The big ones are:
– EWGF (Electric Water God Fish) is now a full part of her move set! Originally an easter egg command input, now the move is fully usable out of the Dspecial dash by pressing Ustrong during it. This will cost lure light meter to do, but inflicts stun on the opponent!
– New Dattack, this uses the existing animation, but has a vertical trajectory and follow ups. Hold down the attack button to perform follow-up stomps, leading to new combo routes!
– New Ustrong, this ustrong is a vertical traveling 3 hit multi-kick. It will fully Anglara in the air so be careful when whiffing this!
– Damage and knockback strength reductions on the majority of kill moves.
DOWN SPECIAL
Lure Light Stance
Anglara goes into a special stance, from this stance you can press special or parry with a direction to perform a wave step. this move gives Anglara lots of movement! To use your lure light resource, press the attack button during the stance. This does the Lure Light Leaping Kick, a powerful anti-air!
NEUTRAL SPECIAL
Wave Fist
Anglara fires an orb of concentrated water. To use your lure light resource, press the attack button during the startup of this move, deploying a Light Orb that explodes after a short period of time, or can be detonated by Anglara’s attacks!
FORWARD SPECIAL
Whirlpool Kicks
A forward traveling multihit attack which ends in a strong finishing kick. The regular followup can be perfomed by pressing special during this attack. Whirlpool Launcher is used for combos, sending the opponent at a fixed low knockback. To use your lure light resource, press the attack button during this move, launching yourself upwards and deploying a Light Orb that explodes after a short period of time, or can be detonated by Anglara’s attacks!
UP SPECIAL
Typhoon Uppercut
A strong finisher and anti-air move. The regular followup for this move is activated by pressing down and special during a whiffing uspecial. This cuts its ascent short to unleash a Waterfall Leg Drop. To use your lure light resource, press the attack button while hitting this move, the Lure Light Chop sends downward, allowing for continued pressure.
