The Dornot bridgehead – Fort Saint Blaise.
Map and mission based on the historical battle which occured in Dornot, Lorraine in September 1944.
It was the first phase of the crossing of the Moselle river before the battle of Metz, opposing the US and german armies and making more than 900 casualties in 60 hours notably while establishing the bridgehead and defending horseshoe wood.
(fun fact : the cocreator of Captain America Jack Kirby participed in the battle)
The map is in the german campaign.
