The Venus was the first truly effective Ozslandic aircraft carrier. It lacks the sophisticated maintenance and command facilities of earlier concepts, instead focusing on fielding a large number of planes from multiple simple carriers. This philosophy finally gained the approval of the General Staff, who ordered Venus-class carriers in large numbers.
