The Latexians
The latexians are a race made of living latex.
They live on a planet outside of the Galaxy, hidden in a colorful nebular.
Their essence is stored in a special crystal, called the Vitalcrystal. This crystal gives the liquid Latex of their body its shape and bodystructure.
The Latexians know that they are an artificial race. Long ago they found ruins on their planet, with a strange machine. Old records found there hint that this machine was used to make the Vitalcrystals.
It is not known if the Latexians are a real artificial race, or if their makers did transfer their own essence in the Vitacrystals.
The Latexians are a very curious and helpfull specy. They always search for new knowledge and things to learn.
It is tradition in their culture that a Latexian must go several years on a journey through the universe to bring back new Knowledge or Wisdom to their people – And perhaps shed lights on their real origin.
They love progress and hightech.

The armors are equiped with worked in features.
From Tier 3 you get a slight glow (nightvision) effect
From Tier 5 you get a small bouncyeffect that protects you from falldamage
From Tier 6 you get a temporyl shieldeffect, additional to the armorshield.
PS for the shield: When the shieldeffect has worn off, you can either teleport to your ship to reinitiate it, or simple take your armor on and off (the chestpeace)

Custom AI Interface
I made a HAL9000 like AI Interface (2001), with animations and all. I never liked this hmmm animated head thingi
Custom pet
I worked out a pet for the race. Say hello to sparky, a sentinent crystalbeeing from latexia. To protect its sensitive/fragile body it lives in a tiny flying sourcer.

And since we can have race specific teleporters, the latexians had to send in their design too.
New Craftingstations
To acess the blueprints (and future updateblueprints):
Simply craft the 2 new Craftingstations, this will unlock all new Blueprints.
Latexian Factory:
This station handles the crafting of: Armor, Weapons, Clothing, Furniture and Objects (Like wallpanels)
They are split in categories similiar to those of the vanilla craftingstations
Latexlab: The Latexlab allows you to craft Liquid Latex and Silicone Oil
– Liquid Latex: this is used as craftingmaterial, but you can fill a pool with it too. The Liquid has a slow effect and a bouncy effect
– Silicone Oil: Everyone who knows a bit about Latex, knows that Silicone Oil is the best treatment for it. Which means, this oil gives you an Energyregenboost, Healing and speedboost (all temporary, of course)
Custom colonists
To spawn the new colonists, you need to build homes like regular, and add Latexian furniture.
