Laki
As Water Town, the merchant capital of Aether, continues to grow, the coral reefs just outside the city limits are being put at risk of dying due to the exponential rise of urban development, pollution, and coral poaching. But a local sea slug named Laki has been watching the ocean’s tides — the push and pull of water… Now he’s ready to protect his home from those who threaten its existence!
Nspecial
- Neutral special is a projectile that, when fully charged, creates a water ball that can interact with all of Laki’s specials.
- Charges can be stored by pressing shield.
- The water ball can be hit by opponents. After getting hit twice, the water ball is destroyed. Laki can hit his own damaged water ball with an uncharged projectile to restore its health.
Fspecial
- Laki dashes forward with the to grab his opponents. A successful grab leads to an uppercut that sends opponents flying.
- The water ball can team up with Laki when this move is started in close proximity, transforming this move into a multi-hit drag to rack up damage before a strong uppercut on a successful grab.
Uspecial
- Laki attacks with a rising fist. Teaming up with the water ball transforms this move into a multi-hit drag upwards with an emphatic punch upon reaching its peak.
Dspecial
- Laki manipulates gravity to briefly stall and drift.
- When the water ball is out on stage, Laki pulls it and himself towards each other (and perhaps an opponent along the way).
