EQUTIES’ mod – Maps and improvements
This mod aims to improve the overall European map with more provinces and redrawn borders.
The mod adds more provinces, aswell as a lot of mountain ranges (inspired by CK3). This really enhances the strategic gameplay experience, and brings a fresh new look to a European map that has not been updated in a very long time.
Aside from adding new provinces in the regions below, I did take the time to reshape some other province around Europe to make them match the rivers. It may not be historical accurate, but it looks a lot better in my opinion.
Changes:
– Inflation now hits harder and has a bigger effect on the prices. Be carefull
– Changed the bonusses of old and useless advisors, and incorporating new features.
– Great powers now get a debuff, making it harder to maintain a big empire and snowball.
– Adjustet the difficulty settings. Playing on hard will now buff the AI in more ways.
This is to provide a greater challenge to the human player.
– Added a new terrain type for small urban areas.
Scandinavia:
– 15 land new provinces added.
– 1 new sea zone added.
– Slighty increased development.
– Graphical overhaul with added trees and marsh.
– Stockholm starts with a castle.
– Kola is now in Russian region.
– Skåneland is now a releable nation with custom ideas.
– Added Scanian and Geatish culture.
– Finish and Sami culture is seperate from Scandinavian.
Baltic:
– 8 land new provinces added.
– Gave Marienburg a port and acces to the sea
– Warszawa now starts with a castle for better balance.
Germany:
– Added 7 new provinces.
– Ruppin starts as a vassal of Brandenburg.
– Buffed Brandenburg Gate monument.
– Reduced the gov. cap. penalty for Prussian Monarchy from 50% to 30%
– Reduced some of the bonusses from the Prussian Monarchy for balance.
Lowlands:
– 1 land new province added.
– 1 new sea zone added.
– Moved East Frisia to the North German region.
– Dutch culture group is seperate from German.
Iberia:
– Added a lot of mountain ranges inspired by CK3.
– 4 new provinces added.
– Portugal is green again.
– Other province redrawings to better match rivers.
Bohemia:
– Added a lot of mountain ranges inspired by CK3.
– 2 land new provinces added.
– Morovia starts as a vassel.
Hungary:
– Added 4 new provinces.
– 1 New mountain range added.
– Pest now starts with a castle for balance.
– Slighty increased development.
France:
– Recolored the French vassels to different shades of blue.
– Added 9 new provinces.
– Moved the castle from Chatres to Paris for AI balance.
Balkan:
– 7 land new provinces added.
– 1 new sea zone added.
– Slighty nerfed the Ottomans and gave them red map colour
Italy:
– Added 2 mountain ranges.
– Added 4 provinces.
I would love to add more going forward.
