Gmod Tower Tribute Pack

The Gmod Tower Tribute pack is Babel’s biggest release to date. With 22 spectacular weapons, it’s an entire arsenal in one.

As said before, this pack contains 22 re-created weapons from GMod Tower’s PVP Battle and Virus. Here’s a complete list:
Pistols: Semi-Auto Glock, Raging Bull, NES Zapper, Akimbo, Stealth Pistol, 9mm, Dual Silencers, and the Flak Handcannon.
Shotguns: Super Shotty, SPAS-12, and the Double-Barreled Shotgun.
Automatic Weapons: XM8 Compact, Thompson, The Patriot, and the RCP-120.
Explosives: Grenade Launcher, Babynade, and TNT.
Melee: Sword, Pulse Smart Pen, and the Toy Hammer.
Misc.: Stealth Box

There are two backstories to this. If you’d prefer a more story-driven backstory, watch the video.
Back in 2009, I was just starting to venture out in the world of swepping, before I created Babel. And then along came Gmod Tower, a massive monolith of a gamemode. Having only done Sandbox, I joined this just to see what was up. I tried everything out, from the room decorating, the arcade, and even the theater. Unfortunately, since I was running on a crappy XP machine, I wasn’t able to get EVERYTHING out of it, but I still loved it nonetheless.
I tried out the PVP mode for the first time and I was absolutely enthralled. All these weapons I’ve never seen before just ready to go! I wanted to unlock all of them just to try them all. An idea popped into my head while trying to do so, however: "Just go into the files and try to force-get them in singleplayer, dummy!" Turns out that the GMT team thought ahead. The weapons seemed to be running from the PVP servers themselves, rather than from a client. Same deal for the Virus gamemode. It was then I decided that if I couldn’t use them normally, I’d try my hand at recreating them.
Of course, I got distracted by other things, not to mention the inability to deal with such things as worldmodel positioning or putting custom sounds in .qc models. 7 years have gone by and I’ve learned a ton at this point, and I’m finally confident enough to do this.

To install the Gmod Tower Tribute Pack, click "Subscribe". The weapons will automatically download when you start up Garry’s Mod. Then, go to the "Weapons" tab and select the "GMod Tower Tribute" tab.

(*I’m not actually quite sure who programmed the original weapons in particular, but this applies to the person who hexed them, gave them sounds, and all that stuff.)

"Hey, there’s a few weapons missing in this!"
You’re exactly correct about that. The weapons that AREN’T in this pack include: The Chainsaw, the Bouncy Grenade, the AS-50 Sniper Rifle, the M1 Garand, Plasma Autorifle, Sci-Fi Handgun, the Virus Sniper Rifle, Adrenaline, and the Sonic Shotgun. I’ll be discussing those in a post in the Babel Industries group.
Do you like these sweps? Would you be interested in checking out Babel’s entire line of odd, unique sweps? Well, if you’ve answered ONE of those questions, I implore you to join the official Babel Industries group! I plan to keep members updated on current projects, as well as even asking them to decide which swep should be next! You can find out more information in the group announcements!
Gmod Tower might be closed now, but it lives on as Tower Unite, a new stand-alone game! If you loved GMT and weren’t aware of this, I’d say check it out.
***I am not affiliated or associated in any way with Pixeltail Games, I merely made this pack as a huge thank-you to inspire me into making sweps for the GMod community for the past 7 years, and hopefully many more to come.***
