Description:

Adds a seaport to Philadelphia

Historically the Port of Philadelphia was absolutely vital to the nation, and while it is somewhat upriver and therefore technically landlocked, it has always functioned fully as a naval and seaport from the colonial era through to the present.

What’s more – Paradox gives Delaware port access and not Pennsylvania, which seems to make sense on the surface since Delaware has a good deal of actual coastline. However, in reality that coast is pretty much useless for anything other than vacations. In fact, the only true port that Delaware has is in Wilmington, which itself is also situated slightly upriver – barely 5 miles closer to the ocean than the lowest port in Pennsylvania. This means the only seaport in Delaware is just as "landlocked" as Pennsylvania’s ports are, and I just won’t stand for it any longer.

Note – this does edit the map, and will likely be incompatible with other mods that alter the map.
