660 Tradewind
"Fly to Serve"

DESCRIPTION:
**REQUIRES MODDED WORKBENCH/MISSION TO SPAWN**
– At the end of the second world war the post war civil aviation market boomed and with the advancements made in aricraft technology the newly incorporated Padstow Overseas Air Carrier (POAC) contracted the Westland Aircraft Company to build a long range pressurized airliner in 1946, which would be come the 660 Tradewind.
Due to the quick turnaround of the contract the Westland Company utilized the wing box of a heavy bomber built late in the war, hence it’s rather dated appearance as a tail dragger. The aircraft itself however was highly advanced for the time featuring a full autopilot and cabin pressurization allowing it to cruise well above the weather.
With just one stop in the sawyer isles for fuel the 660 Tradewind could fly the long transoceanic routes required to build POAC into a major international carrier.
