Tac’s Potion Mod
Welcome to my first original mod (except for the tools and strings fix)!

This mod currently adds 8 potions to the game, each of which with their own unique effects (and adverse side effects). They will be found in provisions.
Tips:
1. All potions are available in lower quantities, stack less, and generally cost more than original provisions. Choose what you need carefully!
2. All but one potion have a side effect, and most side effects create a lingering weakness after the stronger positive has worn off. For example, one potion gives +40% damage for 3 round, but is accompanied by an uncurable -10% damage debuff for 10 rounds. This means for 3 rounds you get +30% damage, at the cost of being weaker for 7 rounds after the potion has worn off. This makes you ask questions like should I use this now or later? Can I "walk" the debuff off afterwards?

Notes on installation:
So, this was hard for me to decide. The base game can only support space for 14 provisions, however this mod by itself goes over that limit. However however, considering there are already a few mods that increase the provision store’s size, I will forego adding one.
THAT MEANS YOU NEED A MOD THAT INCREASES THE SIZE OF THE PROVISION STORE. OTHERWISE YOU WON’T SEE ALL THE POTIONS!

(LIST OF EFFECTS)

Virtuous Vial: Grants 50% virtue chance for 2 rounds. Adds a 65% stress resist buff for 2 rounds. Adds a stress taken debuff of 15% for 4 battles.
Tips: Use this only when you have a strong feeling your hero can get the resolve check within two rounds. The stress resist, while it is considered a buff traditionally, in this case, it works against you. Be precise when using this. Otherwise, you are left with a high stress, non-virtued hero with increased stress gain.

Berserker brew: Increases dmg by 40% for 3 rounds. Adds a 10% damage reduction for 10 rounds. This grants you a dmg buff of 30% for 3 rounds and 10% less damage for 7 rounds later.

Attentive alcohol:
+20 Acc for 3 rds
+10 crit for 3 rds
-5 acc for 10 rds
-2.5 crit for 10 rds

Swift solution:
+4 spd for 4 rds
+20 dodge for 4 rds
-1 spd for 10 rds
-5 dodge for 10 4ds

Death inducing draught:
Adds all + effects from berserker brew, attentive alcohol, and swift solution for 5 rds. They are not accompanied by the counter debuffs. Also adds +10% death blow resist and 10 restoration for 5 rds.
The drawback is as follows:
Deals 240 damage to consumer
Deals 20 stress damage
+35% stress increase for 5 rds.
Tips: This potion will almost guarantee an instant death door and applies a lot of stress on the consumer. This potion in normal cases should be used as a last resort. However, there are synergies with other mechanics in the game that this potion abuses. Keep in mind that while this potion uses the berserker brew, attentive alcohol, and swift solution effects, those potions can be used alongside this one. Granting a massive advantage for 3-5 turns. Just be careful.
Good usage examples:
On a flagellant
On a hero who can heal off death’s door
User is NEAR death’s door
User has been on death’s door before
Stress damage and stress increase helps get the resolve check for the virtuous vial
A fight is taking a turn for the worse and you are running out of options.
Poor usage examples:
On a full health hero
On a hero who hasn’t been on death’s door
On a hero who is on death’s door
A hero with high stress
The fight is going fine.

Mysterious mixture:
Stealth for 3 rds
Damage taken: +10% for 10 rounds.

Rudimentary restorative:
Restoration 6pts/1rd

Truesight Tonic
+10% Scouting Chance for 3 battles
+5% Party Surprised Chance for 4 battles
-5% Monsters Surprised Chance for 4 battles
Notes: This potion’s effects only apply to the one who consumed it, meaning you can stack multiple truesight tonics on different heroes for a greater effect.
Tips: Wait until you are about to enter a room to get maximal benefits from this potion.
