East Asian Unique Units Pack

A small pack that adds 6 Unique Units for eastern Asian civilizations, including 2 for Korea, 2 for Japan and 2 for China.

Rich history behind all these units can’t be easily written, most of information is in civilopedia entries in-game. A short summary: Hwarangs helped unify Korea, very popular nowadays because of TV Series. Chongtongs played huge role during Imjin War. Yabusame archers are mounted Samurai who defended Japan in 1274. and 1281. Ashigaru Musketmen unified Japan under Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Ji Spearmen were the most numerous Chinese combatants during Warring States period and Han dynasty. Changdao is the name of Chinese special 2-handed blade that was in use from Han Dynasty all the way until late Ming dynasty.

This mod adds 6 new unique units for 3 civs – Japan, Korea and China. Units are:

Japan
Ashigaru musketmen – unique Japanese Musketman replacement. Gains +7 Strength when attacking City-States or Free Cities.
Yabusame archer – unique Japanese ranged cavalry unit. Gains Faith from combat victories.

China
Ji Spearman – unique Chinese Spearman replacement. +5 Strength when attacking melee and anti-cavalry units.
Changdao – unique Chinese Man-at-Arms replacement. +5 Combat Strength when fighting near Great Wall improvement.

Korea
Hwarang – unique Korean ranged cavalry unit. Gains free promotion if trained in cities with Seowon, and earns culture from kills.
Chongtong – weaker Korean Bombard replacement. Has +1 Movement and +10 Strength versus Naval units.

Mod is available in Chinese (both traditional and simplified) and Japanese.

Requires GS and RF. Compatible with NFP and LP packs. Units will also be added to any modded leaders of these civs.
Problems should not be expected. Though, if you have any, make sure to report.
