Welcome to "Age of Discovery", a mod for Victoria 3 set in an alternate timeline where the industrial revolution started in the 1440’s.
=== 6/January/2025 announcement ===
Happy new year everyone! I’ve taken time and updated the mod to 1.8, after several failed attempts, time wasted and life getting in the way. The current version has been altered to better fit VIC3 compared to previous installments. Looking forward now to polishing this version as there are a lot of things I want to rework/add in, I’ll be very busy this month due to exams and work, however updates should start rolling out after, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Roadmap and what’s currently being worked on:
New Journal Entries and decisions.
New Buildings.
Improved UI and new UI Elements.
Events, event-chains.
New formables.✔️
New state traits and better map data
Improved AI
Better laws
(This isn’t an exhaustive list, if it’s checked it means there already is content added in that part and I am satisfied with the way it currently is, not that it’s 100% finished and done.)
