BTR-70
The BTR-70 is an 8×8 APC designed in the 1960s and first exported in 1972 by the Soviet Union, given the name бронетранспортер (Bronetransporter) which means "Armored transporter." Developed as a successor to the BTR-60, it was and is very effective to this day, even with successors such as the BTR-80, BTR-90, and the VPK-7829. The BTR-70 has a top speed of 80 KMH and was armed with either a 12.5mm DShK or a 14.5mm KPVT Machine Gun, and a 7.62mm PKT Machine Gun.
