Description:

Total War: Attila has definitely better characters’ traits mechanics than Total War: Rome II. Bad traits aren’t usually so much damaging as they were in Rome II and their triggers are also (usually) better designed. But there are still some flaws. So similarly to TWR2 I made this mod for TWA which rebalances the triggers for some traits to occur, especially the bad ones.

Bad traits (combined with great politics in this game) are entertaining gameplay element – nobody is perfect so why should be your generals? 🙂

Therefore this mod tries to keep things balanced and doesn’t remove them completely. Instead, it modifies the traits’ probability values so the most annoying ones should be reduced, for example the "Arrogant" trait received just for winning (!) battles, bad traits for post-battle enslaving/slauhgtering, bad traits for long garrisoning, too frequent bad traits upon agent creation etc.

This mod doesn’t change any trait attributes, just the probability of traits to occur.

Compatibility

Compatible with all DLCs. Save game compatible (you don’t have to start a new game in order to use this mod, but take into account that existing traits won’t be removed). Should be compatible with most other mods (but probably not with other mods modifying the traits’ triggers).

Try my other mods for Total War: Attila

All mutually compatible.
