Description:

This mod requires Shadow and the Blade DLC and will cause CTD if you play as Tretch without having one

Main Feature
  • Tretch’s elite Stormvermins will be trained over time.
  • Players can recruit them, or sell them to other factions to get various valuables.
  • Players can expand the barrack and keep more Stormvermins at a single time.
  • Players can also use trained Stormvermins as a mentor and gets an effect that buffs Stormvermin permanently.

Description

This is my one another ‘Give faction A’s feature X to faction B’ series. This time it’s the Eshin’s shadowy dealings given to Tretch. Some of the features were arranged to fit my tastes. Since most of the feature is the same as Eshin’s, I’ll focus on what’s different.

Deals

Most important: While you need Eshin characters to make a deal, they don’t play any role in this, they don’t get wounded and they don’t get XP and none of the deals require high levels of them. It’s baggage coming from the Eshin feature, and I fail to remove or change the character pool. Think of it as a catalyst.

  • Deploy Stormvermin: Adds Stormvermins to your recruiting pool, they’ll be rank 7 on recruitment.
  • Sell Stormvermin: Add Stormvermin to target Skaven force controlled by another faction. You’ll get money for this.
  • Sell Stormvermin for Food, Technology, or rare ancillary: Title. The targeted faction will gain the Stormvermin recruitment pool and will be able to recruit them later.
  • Sell Stormvermin for settlement and/or undercity: Gain undercity or settlement. The targeted faction will NOT get Stormvermin because of a scope problem in the coding.
  • Expand Barrack: Your maximum number of Stormvermin will increase
  • Various buffs: You’ll get a permanent modifier that buffs Stormvermins.
  • Increase Tolls: You’ll get 5000 gold for each Skaven faction you have a trade agreement with. However, your relationship with them will deteriorate.
  • Deploy Deathvermin: Only possible if you’re subscribing to Heroes of the Skaven Clans mod (and its asset pack) You can still play this mod without subscribing to Heroes of the Skaven clans mod, but you’ll not have access to the Deathvermin and its dealing.

Reputation

Unlike Eshin, there will be no clan contracts. Instead, you’ll get a reputation by keeping a trade agreement with them, and by selling Stormvermins. (This excludes settlement and undercity deals)

You’ll lose your reputation if you Increase tolls while having a trade agreement with them.

Credit

Thanks, @Stratovarius and his team for allowing Deathvermin unit access 🙂

A. No because I can’t test it.

Q. Aren’t these permanent buffs too powerful?
A. That’s the point.
