Description:

This mod was made because I love to capture as many ships as possible. I was so disappointed when I couldn’t capture the Turanic carrier or build from a captured Taiidan carrier, so I made a mod to fix that!
This mod allows you to capture almost all ships in the Homeworld 1 and 2 Remastered Campaigns and also build from captured carriers and shipyards.
This includes:
– Most Fighters (Kushan, Taiidan, Turanic, and Kadeshi)
– ALL Flagships (Vaygr, Kushan, Taiidan, Turanic (carrier) and Kadeshi(needle ship))
– Some ship relics (Khar-Toba and abandoned carrier)
– And some other ships (Headshot asteroid, Hyperspace inhibitor asteroids
Does not include:
– Homeworld 2 Progenitor ships
– Science station in mission 10 (Supernova Station)
– Structures that are required to finish a mission (eg. Ghost ship, junkyard office)
WARNING:
This mod is NOT compatible old saves (this includes autosaves, even the mission start autosave). These saves will likely crash the game, or make missions unwinable.
To prevent this, you may need to restart the campaign from the beginning or at least from the beginning of a mission in single player mission select menu.
Known Issues:
– All missions involving the Turanic Raiders are a little broken. Nothing game breaking, but the AI no longer builds ships from the Turanic Carriers. This does mean mission 2 can only be won by destroying or capturing the Turanic Carriers
– In mission 3 of the Homeworld 2 campaign the carriers may still not be able to build anything after they are captured. Idk why this is the case, if you capture carriers in mission 4 the issue of not present with them.
Future plans:
– Make more Homeworld 2 ships capturable (eg Progenitor ships, Planet killer, Vaygr bases)
– Make Science station in mission 10 capturable
– Make probes capturable
