Robo-Plankton
Robo-Plankton from SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom joins Rivals of Aether! Armed with a variety of tricks and traps from the unique roster of robot minions in his game of origin, he’s sure to make quick work of any challengers that stand in his way of complete world domination. Robo-Plankton is primarily a mid-range/trap-based character, able to hold his own from afar, but has more than a few tricks up his sleeves to control space from any opponents getting too close for comfort. He lacks a traditional recovery, instead sporting three additional double jumps that when combined with his aerials, make for a more methodical approach to recovery. He also lacks any notable burst options, meaning if you want to stand a chance against this robotic menace, you’re going to have to get up close and personal.
Special moves:
Neutral Special/Side Special: Robo-Plankton fires a laser beam straight forward from his cannon. Holding special down repeatedly allows you to fire indefinitely. He may also move left or right while firing for continuous (and obnoxious) fire, as well as rolling, parrying, or jumping at any time.
Up Special: Robo-Plankton fires a torpedo in an upward trajectory. Holding down will cause the torpedo to instead fire at a forward-arched angle.
Down Special: Robo-Plankton squirts tartar sauce on the floor, remaining on the floor for a short amount of time before dissipating, and damaging any opponents unfortunate enough to step in it.
