’92 AM General M998 – MODIFIED – QUICK PATCH v1.90
This mod was originally just a quick replacement for Alkanshel’s ’92 AM General M998 – MODIFIED mod (found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2894316100) to be compatible with the most recent update of KI5’s mod (’92 AM General M998 + Cargo Trailer) v1.90; however it seems like Alkanshel’s mod was ultimately taken down (there was an issue with their out-of-date mod making the tires on the M998 disappear). I’ll be loosely maintaining this mod until Alkanshel decides to fix and reupload their mod.
This mod essentially increases the off-road and general performance of the M998 by KI5. Horsepower increased from 460 to 700 for better towing, slightly altered gear ratios, and increased off-road capability. The M998 now handles and tows much better compared to the vanilla M998. Works great for me and my server. If installing into an existing game, vehicles are updated once a player starts the vehicle. Should be compatible with reskin mods as long as they do not touch the performance values of the vehicle or cargo trailer.
If you intend on using this, disable Alkanshel’s MODIFIED mod until they update it and use this mod instead. Once Alkanshel’s MODIFIED mod is reuploaded, feel free to disable this mod and then just use Alkanshel’s MODIFIED mod instead. I won’t be deleting this mod; however I probably lack the ability to maintain it long term if major updates end up breaking it again.
