The Mercedes-Benz W124 500E BIPPU is the fifth in my series of VIP-style luxury sedans, coupes, and SUVs. Inventory will be hand-delivered to Honeymilk Salon as I complete builds. You’ll find their hospitality exceptional, and their services without peer.

A Brief Wiki History of ‘bippu’ styling:

Modifications from the original 500E

– Modified uniqueMod parameter to reflect a higher monetary value
– Modified drag coefficient
– Modified position of engine x-axis to center
– Modified position of engine bay components
– Added Fuse Box 2 to engine bay
– Added streamlined piping to air intakes
– Added stabilizers to streamlined piping (driveshaft x2)
– Added front-end Auxiliary Fans (Cooling1 x2)
– Reworked exhaust system to support a dual-pipe setup
– Properly aligned suspension, driveshaft, and exhaust systems
– Lowered ride height
– Modified spring stiffness
– Resized tires and rims
– Replaced sport tires with racing tires
– Replaced standard rims with 5-point mags
– Realigned front and rear tracks
– Realigned wheel base
– Slightly modified position of rear license plate
– Removed front license plate
– Other miscellaneous tweaks here and there

Additional driveshafts (x2) emulate piping stabilizers. Remove/install them on the lift in the same fashion as you would the main driveshafts. Streamlined intake piping needs to be removed/installed on the lift as you would the exhaust system.

From what I’ve gathered, some of these models have a smaller, secondary battery installed in the passenger-side engine bay by the relay box, which is where I moved Fuse Box 1 so as to emulate the relay setup. The fuse box and ECU are where they should be (I think), from what I’ve seen in diagrams. I didn’t see a secondary battery on the ’90 model, but I could be wrong.

Clipping issues in the rear floorboard and trunk, as can be seen in the last two screens. Everything else is lined out nice and neat.

500E BIPPU can be found in the Junkyard, Auction, and Barns.

I’m always open to suggestions and improvements.
Thanks a bunch, much love, and cheers to the wall fly.
