Holding the Greil Mercenary legacy from Fire Emblem, the radiant hero has arrived to guide the shining path to victory.

Ike has multiple ways of manipulating Eruptions to make himself a glass cannon. Ike deals damage to himself while holding an Eruption, but causes his next sword slash do bonus damage and knockback.

𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨

Forward-Tilt
A standard horizontal sword slash. This can be angled in up to 3 directions with varying knockback angles depending on direction inputted during the startup frames. If this is used on an Eruption or Ike has a charge of Eruption, this fires a narrow flare in that direction. The flare does more damage if they pass through more Eruptions.

Up-Tilt
Leap and raise the sword upward from the ground. Holding the input will send Ike higher into the air, but does not effect overall knockback.

Up-Air
Your standard sword swing upwards. Holding the input will have Ike spin the sword rapidly while carrying Ike higher in the air based on momentum.

Down-Strong
Two sword slashes close to the ground: one from the front then one from the back. The second slash does more damage & knockback.

Neutral-Special – Eruption
Charge to spawn Eruptions from the ground. Eruptions will multi-hit damaging anyone they come in contact with including Ike. Parrying after the second charge stores it. If used with a stored Eruption will default to the max charge. Eruptions can be taken out by an enemy hitbox.

Forward-Special – Quickdraw
Charge a dash. Inputting Special will perform a slash. Inputting Attack will perform a grab. Dashing through an Eruption will consume and store it. This move can be canceled into a jump, Up-Special, or Down-Special.

Down-Special – Gleaming Counter
A standard counter. Upon being hit, Ike will grab the enemy where they can be thrown in up to 4 directions. The counter grants some frames of invincibility against projectiles.

Up-Special – Aether
Toss the sword rapidly into the air, leap into the air, catch the sword, spin rapidly with the sword, slam into the ground. This can be angled slightly by holding forward. This move can be canceled during the leap via air dodge or releasing special which can be toggled based on preference. If used with an Eruption charge will cause one to spawn upon landing. If used on an existing Eruption, canceling will not lead to pratfall.

This is practically Ike’s Smash moveset, but with more than a few bells and whistles to spice things up to a somewhat unhealthy degree.

Attack sounds are from Smash Ultimate. Voicelines are from Smash Brawl / Smash 4, and Ultimate.

Swing that comically large knife like your life depends on it, because it probably does.

Can’t wait for the hitfall N-air chains. Those are my favorite.

Don’t expect any major balances or changes. There may be bug fixes here and there, but that’s just about it.
