Permanent White Fireplace (Modified)!
AboutThe white fire mechanic was an interesting addition to Repentance, not only because of the Knife Piece, but also because touching the white fire allows you to cheese things like curse rooms, spiked chest, get consumables over pits and rocks for free etc. However, you always had to backtrack to the white fire to touch it again and to use its benefits, since the effect resets every time you clear a room. Say "no more" to that b.s. with this mod!
Modified from MrSeemsGood’s Permanent Lost Curse Mod to make a few personal changes, this mod makes the white fireplace in downpour and dross II *really* permanent, allowing you to take a devil deal for free if you can beat the boss as the lost! As well as this the effect applies automatically in this fork of the mod, not needing to hold down any buttons or anything to have the curse last the whole floor. Hope you enjoy!
