The Electrostars are here to light up your day! As the most numerous EMU in post-privatisation Britian, they can be found across the country South of England. Including every single British variant, in every single conceivable formation, you’ll have no trouble finding the Electrostar of your dreams.

Don’t worry Northerners, you havn’t been left out. Here’s your dinosaur blood DMUs.

HELP! What train do I choose??

The Electrostar family is undoubtedly a mess, from almost identical units, to nonsensical ordering, and lots of other dumb decisions. But i have a simple guide for you!

Simply find the category below that suits your needs the most, then look at the listed classes!
I need a cheap train: Class 376,378
I need a flexible train: Class 377, 378
I need a fast train: 177km/h: 387 / 160km/h: 357, 375, 377, 379, 387
I "need" a pantograph: Any except the Class 376
I "hate" pantographs: Class 375, 376, 377, 378, 387
I need a high capacity train: Class 357, 376, 378
I want x colour train: Look through each model and find it. I’m not listing ever colour here :sob:
