400 AD Reskin
Announcement: This mod will continue, but receive fairly less updates. I am developing an extension of this mod, essentially, rather an overhaul than a reskin: 395 AD: Era of Stilicho. It is based in the Attila timeframe with an overhaul aspect (ex: Age of Justinian, Anno Domini, etc). It will contain major units/roster and campaign changes.

DESCRIPTION: This mod reskins almost all of the Western Roman and Eastern Roman roster, including the generals. The only units that haven’t been reskinned yet are the skirmisher units.
MAJOR UPDATE OCTOBER 2023:
— All Western Roman sword units reskinned, renamed, redone shields, redone unit cards.
— All Western Roman spear units reskinned, renamed, redone shields, redone unit cards (except for Foederati spears).
— All roman units available in campaign; upgrading units is removed. No longer are you forced to upgrade units. Now, you can recruit all units, which I have personalized for each recruitment building level, respective to a unit’s capability. This ensures historical accuracy (you’re not going to just have 3 melee units the whole campaign, essentially, like in vanilla). You’re likely to have massive variety in each army. In the following updates I will adjust unit prices so that cheap units are more worth the price (such as limitanei).
— Palatina Guards named to ‘Dux’ for historical accuracy, bodyguard made as the Ioviani Seniores for preference purposes.
— Scout Equites reskinned.
— Massive variety increase among all units; notably their faces. Color variety increased, helmet variety increased, helmet crest variety increased, etc.
— New squamata textures; various other textures.
— New colors among trousers.
Next update will come soon. There are plans undergoing to make this mod an overhaul (all factions redone, campaign mechanics redone, similar to FOTE or AOJ) instead of a reskin, or to remove this mod entirely and make the overhaul a new mod. Let me know what you think.
Recommended mods to go along with this (not mine, nor am I promoting these mods): Venus, Attila Ultimate Animations (no secondary animations).
Mods used for screenshots: Venus, this mod. Reshade is also used.
