Wildmen of the Grey Mountains
Creates 3 new unique units for the Barrow legion
Wildmen Warriors- a blend between Marauders and Skeleton Swordsmen.
Wildmen Beast Hunters- A variation of the Wildmen Warrior that has a smaller shield but can brace Vs Large and has javelins.
Wildmen Clanguard- A variation of the Wildmen representing a contrast to Graveguard. In campaign this unit takes 4 turns to recruit to represent the difficulty of finding living elites to serve an Undead.
These units are limited in campaign to:
Wildmen Warriors- 4
Wildmen Beast Hunters- 2
Wildmen Clanguard- 1
These units can only be recruited through Castle Drachfel.
{This mod is not Lore-full, as in it does not represent any direct lore units.}
While not directly from the lore this unit represents a niche that is not represented in TWW2, and that is a Human that serves neither Chaos nor the Emperor, who doesn’t prostrate to the lady nor fight a never-ending war versus deamons. This unit represents the an ancestrial link to the Fennone tribe, the ancient natives of Sylvania. I know, the grey mountains are no were near Sylvania, this is true, yet when one looks into the lore of Krell the Wight Chaos lord, it is noticeable that he had led armies in the general vicinity of his burial, and such a burial would require living representatives of his army to bury him. Combining these two points of lore and the location most likely to still hold ancestors of an ancient tribe, I give you Wildmen of the Grey Mountains ancestors of the Fennone and the remnants of Krell’s conquest hold up in a place, so secluded that it was the home of one of the most infamous Necromancers to live.
