Foreign Investments
Victoria Plus is a project of mine that is aiming to introduce new content and mechanics to the game, in a fashion similar to that of an unofficial DLC.
These mechanics are not limited to ones that contribute to gameplay, but also ones from Toolbox-Type-Mods from other Paradox games, such as the Hearts of Iron 4 State Transfer Tool.
This mod is part of the Victoria Plus Addons series of mods
Victoria Plus Addons, while being considered part of Victoria Plus, can be used independently as individual additions to the game.
Furthermore, it means they will always work with Victoria Plus, and be maintained alongside it.
This mod adds the ability to build investments in other nations, as promised by Paradox in the "Post-Release Plans"
Thus, the main functions are:
- Building capped resources such as mines, oil rigs or logging camps in other nations
- The cost for building in other nations is 150% of the base price of the total goods needed to build it, paid over the course of 15 weeks
What mods is this compatible with?
- It should be compatible with most mods, unless they modify the States UI. Resources added by other mods will not be able to be built through foreign investments.
- I don’t mind if my techniques/scripts get used by others because I love seeing the modding community flourish, but please do give credit when using effects or files from my mods! :3
