-In the year 2052 our lives changed, as great minds pretended to be God and bragged about their great achievements, one of their creations got out of control. The first outbreak wiped out entire countries in weeks, the second destroyed all the great safe areas that existed, the third almost wiped us off the planet. Today we are not even a shadow of the great civilization that we once were, but we are something more important, we represent the hope for those who fight to survive in this cursed world, we are a light that tries to guide humanity to its rebirth, because our errors do not define us, and an error cannot destroy us.

-Protectors: The last decent people joins the Protectors. These are civilians organized into groups, they try to restore civilization as it was before the outbreak, that is why they have laws and rules, and try to save and compile knowledge.
-Renegades: Bandits conform groups of rudimentary organization, composed by stragglered people and antisocials. These groups try to recruit young people because are easier to manipulate. Some bandits consumes drugs, are children or cannibalize other people.
-Post-Catastrophe Coalition: PCC is known as the remains of the pre-apocalyptic governments. The PCC has just one objective: eradicate the infestation, and to reach it they do not care about abusing of technology and human beings. Coalition main District is a walled city very secured, but from time in time Coalition sends recognition missions to investigate and follow the infection advance.
-Infected: Dead humans and animals can be reanimated by the Torch Virus, these reanimated corpses are known as infected and its main purpose is expanding infestation and spreading the virus. The Torch Virus can mutate the most of life forms to infect others, this is a very unstable disease that can collect genetic information to enhance mutations and infection effectivenes.
-Skirmish: Default mode, choose a faction and fight for survival!
-Campaign: A set of map packs that tell a story through several different missions (Map packs must be downloaded apart).
-Survival: Players can choose a human faction to survive against waves of undead, supports multiplayer (This game mode is included within the mod and is compatible with any map, set it in advanced match settings).
-Sandbox Tool: Know all mod factions and mechanics by using this included tool, allows players to get resources and research technologies instantly in Sandbox mode!
