Philippines Reworked 1.35.*

Upon playing vanilla or modded vanilla I’ve noticed the lacking flavour in the Philippines, I wanted to change that due to the rich and diverse history in the Phil, upon searching the workshop I saw many mods that were outdated, so I decided to make one my own from scratch! So here we are!

It features 15 new nations (everything incl. In the design, except a custom mission tree!) in the Filipino archipelago and one new formable nation, named: Luzviminda (pre-colonial)
The development and trade goods have been reworked to resemble the richness of the islands, each nation is unique and much more! (read below:)

♢ New Nations: – Overwritten the normal pinoy nations and added 15 new (custom tags, not original) nations to the Filipino-archipelago.
♢ New Country Color’s: – Custom colors for each nation.
♢ New Nations Flags: – Custom flags for each nation.
♢ Custom Traditions: – Custom description for Ideas, ambitions and traditions: These are not copied but hand fully written and picked to give each nation its own identity and strengths to shine
♢ Carefully picked Themes: – Tried to handpick carefully ruler & dynasty names, assign religion and culture to the province and overrules, etc.
♢ One New Formable Nation: – Each new nation incl. Sulu isles can potentially form the Luzviminda formable nation. (Think of Malay formable req.)
♢ Diplomacy Flavor: – Added alliances and historical rivals/friends.

★ Historical accuracy? – This mod isn’t historically accurate and should be seen as fantasy/alternative history. I tried to include and stash as much flavor into the region as possible and making them unique and not oversaturate it with the same religion and culture, the nations are based of 13th and 15/16th century texts and later written accounts. There doesn’t exist much literature around the exact 1444 start date, nor any maps. The maps came way later, from what we know up until now, as far as I know (let us know more in the comments)*
★ Mission tree? – It does not have a custom written pinoy mission tree , but it’s definitely something to consider in the future
★ Mission tree? – Another thing, the traditions can be a bit ”too” overwhelming, this needs to be overhauled in the future.
★ Added Provinces? – I didn’t make any adjustments to the provinces by drawing new ones. So, no added provinces only existing ones are modified.

♢ Diplomacy: – More/Less historical rivals and alliances.
♢ Trade goods/new world: – Add possible new events/decisions for new world resources upon historical introduction of cacao for example, 2 are already added.
♢ Update support: – Future updates in case the game breaks due to vanilla EU4 Updates down the line.
♢ Reworking Dynasty Ruler names: – More unique names (..Names unique to the nation) when born. and possible corrections of ruler names/dynasties for each country.
♢ Discord: – Discord mod Q&A, Suggestions, Debugging, Mod-team, etc.
♢ Balancing: – I’ll look into the dev point modifier for each province and balance it out.
I appreciate the feedback and suggestions, thanks for checking the mod out and reading this far!
Note: 25/02/2023 – I’m currently making a big Asia overhaul, I’m still deciding to merge it all together or make standalones.

Check the ”change notes” for the desc of changes. I’ll post it there in the future aswell, instead of this section.
– Added REQUIRED DLC’s, these are recommendations to get out the most flavour.
