Description:

This is my new dark ride that follows the story of Tron Legacy. Queue up in Flynn’s arcade and transport to the grid! Thrill to all the key scenes from the movie including the recognizer attack, light cycle battle, Flynn’s base, the club, Clu’s Carrier (yes the entire carrier is here), the aerial battles, and then final escape.

Warnings/Comments:
– To get on the ride, you can click on the track and click the camera. However, for the best experience, click on park management (lower left button on the screen) and then attractions and click on the location icon to flip to the loading area. Then, you can explore the small mini-park surrounding the ride and the queue area through Flyynn’s arcade.
– This ride will stretch your machine. You will likely need to turn the settings way down. I can barely play it in 4K with a GTX1070, but all the settings are practically on minimum. It runs quite well at 1080. Do set the water to medium (not low) or you will miss a lot of the water effects towards the end of the ride (the end of the ride takes place over water). Also, set the shadows to the 2nd to lowest setting, not the lowest (the worst setting makes everything look really bad).
– This ride is so complex that it breaks down nearly the minute it is opened. If you don’t care about people screaming, then put it in test mode. If you want to ride it including real passengers, then first move the camera to the loading area as you need to get on at just the right time. Fast forward if nobody has gotten through the line yet and wait to someone comes. Then, click on the ride and go to the wrench icon and and request an inspection, and hop on. The inspection should occur while you are on the ride and hopefully keep it from breakiing down. In the worst case if the ride breaks down while you are on it, the mechanic should come quickly and all you will notice is that the music will stop for about 15 seconds.
– Note: Nearly all of the vehicles are posted as separate blueprints. Go to the top of this page and click on "bhamilto1x’s Workshop" to see them or search the Steam Workshop for "Tron Legacy." There are some variants not sepately posted (such as several variants of the large blue "bomber") – You can mine those from the actual ride posting.
