Cathay Heroes
Two new heroes introduced to Grand Cathay stand ready to defend the Great Bastion and expand Cathay’s borders beyond the mountains of Mourn.
Mixer is required in order to populate the two new hero tables added – otherwise they will not generate as Cathay do not have access to Champion & Dignitary by default. It is of course sad, but it is in CA’s hands.. Nothing us Modders can do about it.

Jade Warrior Captain
Your standard captain hero unit. He is a potent melee character with focus on holding the line.
– Personal line like other melee heroes.
– A unique skill: Perfect Harmony which gives a minor buff to the army (+3 MD/MA and +5LS) if he is in range of Yin units (60m) – very much like the Hold the Line! which Empire Captains get access to.
– Mounts: Warhorse & Longma
– Gets access to Training Army buff
Cathayan Engineer
From the forges of Nan Gau, the Engineer is there to buff your missile units!
– Army Buffs: Similar to Skaven.
– Personal Line: Similar to Dwarf Master Engineers (trust me, she needs it).
– A unique skill: Perfect Harmony (+10 Reload/Accuracy and 5% base ranged damage).
– Gets access to Replenishment army buff.
Both units are based on vanilla units and are balanced as such. They are meant to give a bit more flavor to Cathay without ruining the balance of Cathay.
Issues:
– Cathayan Engineer banner does not have its icon (unsure why, it should)
Future:
– Updating the Cathayan Engineer model from bog standard Nan-Gau model to be more spicy.
– Improving on Jade Warrior Captain so there are no clipping issues and making him look – sturdier.
