# Background
I really like Bretonnia and making armour kitbashes for them, but then I saw this mod "The Norscan (Build-a-Chaos-Lord)" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2894118971. It’s really cool that you can mix and match part of your lord look and feel. It was working in the campaign map, but then on battle Daniel’s Armoury doesn’t work with lord on a warbeast mount https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1066855094726951002/1068031142105714718/image.png
Really heart breaking. But I thought, "what if I generate all possible combinations and somehow swap the armour pieces based on the equipped ancillaries via script?". Lo and behold this mod was born.

# Installation
1. Subscribe to this mod
2. Bretonnia Generic Lord Pack (20 variants)
3. The Royal Armoury of Bretonnia Assets Package
4. The Royal Armoury of Bretonnia Paladins Data Package
5. Required mods must be enabled in the launcher

# About this mod
Customise your lord and paladin looks from large pool of helmet, armours, and weapons.
Mix and matches your Bretonnia lord to your liking. Make it your "own dude". The AI faction can use the armoury too!
Also all mounts (horse, pegasus, hippogriff) work and compatible with this mod.

## This mod also include several new Bretonnia ancilliaries:
Armour:
– Gilded Cuirass with Cape
– Gilded Cuirass with Fur Cape
– Armour of Destiny with Cape
– Armour of Destiny with Fur Cape
– Simple Cuirass
– Old Cuirass
– Honor’s Mantle
– Gilded Tabard
Helmets:
– Pegasus Crested Bascinet
– Sallet of the Golden Boar
– Gilded Bascinet
– Gilded Orle
– Helm of the Radiant Lady
– Pegasus Sallet
– Greathelm
Shields:
– The Unbreakable Wall
– Heirloom Shield
– The Cross Shield

Keep in mind some items might be incompatible on some Bretonnia lords and paladins.
All shield items cannot be equipped on two handed lord or paladin. You cannot stack the same items on lords and paladins too (example: stacking 2 armours together in armour slots, the second slot is reserved for helmet).

# Known issues
Q: Does it work mid campaign?
A: It should work, but I can’t guarantee that.

Q: Armoury doesn’t change
A: I don’t model some of vanilla armour like "The gambler’s armour". If you know how that item look, feel free to post picture or concept art for it and I’ll try to make kitbash for it.

Q: It doesn’t work for LL and some heroes like Henri le Massif
A: Yes, this mod only works for generic lords and paladins. However I have a plan to extend this mod for some LLs like Louen, Repanse, and Henri.

Q: It crashes during turns
A: This mod will eat your memory like crazy. Close chrome/edge to free your memory before playing this mod. If it keeps crashing please post it on the thread.

Q: The beard clips on some helmets
A: Lol yeah, I can’t fix that, just pick another helmet lol.

Q: Loading during battle takes longer than usual
A: That’s normal, because it’s loading variant_tables

Q: Can the AI use it?
A: Yes, the AI can use the mod features too.

# Improvement in the future?
– add more face variations from my generic lord packs
– more helmets and weapons
– extend this for some LLs and heroes
– [THE HOLY GRAIL OF THIS MOD]: implement the armoury system using Daniel’s armoury (if you know how to make monster (hippogriff or hu1c lords on horse) mounts work with Daniel’s armoury PLEASE post in the thread below)

# Incompatibility
This mod is incompatible with any mods that changes the thumbnail filename of Bretonnia lords and paladin.

# Multiplayer Support
It supports multiplayer, but I am not really testing it, but it should work given how simple it is. The game should sync whenever armoury was changed by other players and AI.
