This is my first published mod. It has undergone some balance changes, and will see more in the future.
WHAT IS THIS:
This is a new unit based on the Hawk Rider from the wood elf faction. I felt that playing the Sisters of Twillight was an amazing new experience that focused on flying units, but the hawk riders fall off a lot later in the game due to lack of armor piercing on ranged attacks and poor scaling.
Thus, I made a tier 3 (settlement level 5) unit that is recruitable next to the Forest Dragon, for roughly the same cost and upkeep.

BALANCE:
Since update 3.0, there has been some nerfs to this unit.
Melee weapon power and ranged weapon power has been nerfed and focused more on ranged harass and anti-large for melee. It was also prieviously balanced around an 8 unit model, which gave issues since it’s a 24 model. That has been attempted to be altered. To fix some issues with getting stuck in melee, mass of the unit has been increased from 650 to 800.
Melee attack and defence are slightly higher to compensate for the hawk rider buff, that CA came out with at 3.0.
Updated the unit to have vanguard deployment. The regular hawk riders had it no reason the upgraded ones shouldn’t.
Any suggestions are of course welcome.

None.
FUTURE UPDATES:
Looking into adding missile resistance.
Balance changes will happen if I see it needed or I see comments that I feel are warranted.

Currently working on a new hero for the WE faction. Will give info here once it’s released.
