Don’t want to look up the new national ideas of the nation you have just been able to form?
This mod allows you to see the national ideas of the nation you have formed during the event New Traditions & Ambitions allowing you to decide if you want to keep your previous ideas or embrace the new ones.

Shows new National Ideas after you form a new nation

Has cool custom icons embedded into the event text to help the user identify the Ideas, Traditions, and Ambitions of the formed nation.

Intergrates well with The Great Exhibition
As each nation group has a colour picture as seen in the preview images

Ironman compatible

To allow the player to see the new national ideas of the nation before switching to them without having to look it up on the wiki, in a way that would allow the mod to be ironman compatible. Also you can compare the new ideas with your previous ones, to make an informed decision about if they are better. Just move the event window and compare the ideas with your old ones.

The ideas are copied into the localisation file manually. The mod does NOT currently detect the ideas in the game files, which means it has to be manually updated every patch (that changes ideas). If the mod is outdated, it should work normally, but might show wrong ideas for some nations.

It won’t interfere with any other mods that don’t affect the localisation of the new ideas event, however it only has info to show for countries that are formable in unmodded (vanilla) game. If you use it with a mod that adds a new formable nation or makes an existing nation formable, it simply won’t show the ideas for it, but will still work as normal for all the other nations.

This mod is updated currently to the 1.37.* patch, it will work on older patches, but the ideas displayed for the updated nations will display current updated national ideas. Meaning if you form the Siam, Japan, or any updated nation you will see the new ideas in the event, but will get the ideas of your current version since this mod is only visual event text. This is the case as there is a limited set of users playing on older patches. If you know you want to stay on an older patch please keep backups of your subscribed mods so that you can continue playing with them locally. Thank you for your understanding.

This mod works without any DLCs. I have tried to make it show appropriate national ideas based on which DLCs are enabled.
