Description:

The mod contains the M45 Stahlhelm which was the predecessor of the M56 Stahlhelm that was used the NVA of DDR. This mod displays What if the M45 Typ II adopted in the late war. It is known that M56 was also known for it’s very effective ballistic protection due to it’s sloped design. It also includes a dedicated faction for those who wanted to get access to these quicker than going to character editor.

Fun Fact: The 2001 movie Enemy At The Gates, in a montage where Vasily is shown as a good source of Soviet propaganda. The M56 helmet was shown rather than the more authentic and accurate M35 Stahlhelm at the propaganda leaflets. It is seen at 27:58.
