Description:
Foreword

Trakpak2 is no longer being actively developed. I will, however, maintain the assets available for people due to how many maps it is used in, so you don’t have to worry about this addon going away.

If you are Not a mapper:

Click the subscribe button and you will be able to see the track models when they are used in maps.

The models aren’t designed to be put together in gmod, only hammer. I’m packaging them as a workshop upload so I can keep the models up to date without requiring 50 different maps to be updated with the new track.

Yes, you need this in order to see the track models in-game.

If you have problems with the autoswitches, enable sv_cheats, then type this into the console:

ent_fire "trigger_multiple" disable

This will turn off all the autoswitches in the map (you can re-enable them by replacing "disable" with "enable")
Note that you have to be an admin to do this. Obviously.
Also note that this may screw up other parts of the map that use trigger brushes.
(Thanks to SligWolf for info on that command)

If you Are a mapper:

In addition to clicking the subscribe button, you can find "hard" copies of the track models and materials here:

I fixed the link![github.com]

Additionally, I have included track prefabs in the zip file so you can make switches.

Please take the time to read the readme file in the zip file, the addon is very well-documented and instructions for installation are in there.

A nice feature of this workshop upload is that you don’t need to package the track materials/models with the map upload, thus cutting down on file size. The tradeoff is that you have to link any users of the map to this addon or else they won’t be able to see any of the track models.

If you already have a map that has these track models packaged with them, delete the track files from them to remove the possibility of conflicts.
