This mod adds a new default job option for your pilots to monitor sector activity and jump on nearest threats.

You need to set home sector in case pilot chases after an escaping enemy it knows where to return.

Option to toggle attacking different class of ships (XL/L/M/S).

Option to toggle for searching and revealing concealed ship. Log entry added for each successful reveal.

Option to toggle pursue on/off. When it is ON, your ship will attempt to follow the escaping ships through the galaxy.

Option to toggle parking around the sector core in case there is nothing else to do.

Option to toggle afterburner (boost) while approaching targets to keep the shield levels high before combat.

Option to shoot to disable (trying to keep enemy hull above 20%) in hope they would bail.

There will be more enhancements implemented in near future; like rewards by friendly factions, raising alerts on detecting invading fleets etc. I found the vanilla ‘Patrol’ order very simple and way too slow to react on threat.

1.04 – added option to select ship class targets (XL/L/M/S), added option to park around sector core location in case there is nothing else to do, added option to avoid boosting while travelling to target (to save shield energy).
1.05 – added option to ‘shoot to disable’ at 20% threshold value for now. Not sure how that is working, so far in my testing i haven’t seen anything to bail. This is using the vanilla attack script’s disable feature. Also enabled squad attack flag, so subordinates will help their commander.
1.06 – adjusted approach timer
1.07 – added option to attack enemy stations
1.08 – compatibility fix for 4.10.
1.09 – compatibility fix for 5.0
1.10 – fixed awaiting orders bug. Thanks thelich for providing the fix!
1.11 – fixed bug with 7.0 where script would abort after each fight.
