In the beginning, Rome was strong and united on all fronts. As time went on, our mighty empire split into two. We managed for years but slowly we grow weak… Other nations saw this weakness and began looting our trade routes, taking our cities, even razing once beautiful lands.
We grew weak but the time for the Eastern Roman Empire to rise again has finally come!

When other nations get in the way, send in these troops to handle them.
Notes:
– Included in Custom Battles and in Main Campaign
– They are recruited by level 2,3, and 4 infantry buildings
