LnS Hydras, Hydras, Hydras!!! (Griselfang and Snarlclaw UPDATE)
This is my first ever uploaded mod and I think it’s of decent quality.
This mod adds 6 new hydras into the game for the Dark Elves, and gives some nice new abilities for the Chill of Sontar ROR.
Spellthirster Hydra
Weaker in many aspects but comes with a more powerful breath attack and spell. Available from the Ghrond Landmark.
Veteran Hydra
Upgraded war hydra with the serpentine tail passive (deals additional damage in combat). Available from the Clar Karond Landmark.
Royal War Hydra
Very strong hydra that is tankier and has an acid breath attack. Available from the Black Tower of Naggaroth in Naggarond.
Sa’ashen the Supreme (not lore)
ROR Spellthirster Hydra for Morathi. Very fast and good melee attack. Comes with multiple bound spells.
Baelon, the Black Dread (not lore)
ROR Royal War Hydra for Malekith. Stupidly OP hydra with 2 different unique attacks and an AOE heal. Baelon is also
huge and has wallbreaker.
Chill of Sontar
Gave it the Glacial Blast and Ice Shard from Kislev. Also gave it the Chilling aura and buffed stats to really give it the feeling of a frost based hydra.
All of the hydras come with custom abilities and updated unit cards even for the base game hydra so that they all look different.
(UPDATE) (April 16, 2023) Backend Model Changes
Updated all the models to WS Models. This means that the Hydras will now be able to have blood splatter on them.

Sorry for not updating this mod for a while. I stopped playing Warhammer for a fair bit but now I’ve gotten the motivation and enjoyment to come back. I plan on adding another Hydra but still have to make it, so it might not come for a while, but I will try to be more diligent about updating this mod in the future. Extras
If enough people like the mod and ask for it I’d be more than happy to re-balance the units. I wanted to make them somewhat (key word somewhat) balanced but also feel really satisfying.

Known Issues
LOD problems on the front/neck section
Problem with WH3, if enough people ask I will make all the LODS the same, I believe this should fix the issue but it might cause worse performance for some people.
Bugs/Incompatibilities/Grammar Errors
I don’t really know if there are any, this is a simple unit mod with custom textures and kitbashed models. If you find a bug, let me know and I’ll try my best to fix it.
I run atleast 200+ mods myself (some are merged to get that count) and this should not be incompatible with them, but once again if anyone find an issue I’ll do my best to fix it.
If there is anything that grammatically doesn’t make any sense please tell me and I will fix it.

I HOPE SOMEONE IS ABLE TO ENJOY AND USE THIS MOD. I plan on playing Warhammer 3 for a long time so this mod will be continuously updated for the foreseeable future.

If you want to, please make submods for this, anyone who wants to can do whatever they want with this mod. If you want to you can credit this mod but it’s not that necessary.
Future Plans
I’m thinking about making a unique Hydra for Rakarth but don’t know what to do for him yet.
I will definitely do a dragon mod that adds custom dragons for all Elven factions but I have no idea when I will.
