NOTE
This vehicle will not work properly if you have any trim enabled and your physics settings must be set to high or it will bounce a lot on the ground. To reset/disable any trim settings, hold ALT and both keys of the axis in question. For example, if you want to reset your forward/backwards trim, you would press ALT-W-S together.
FEATURES
Fully automated diesel-electric generator setup with tanks for air and exhaust to prolong battery life while underwater.
Fully automated ballast system that manages fuel and water levels to obtain buoyancy or help the sub stay below the water.
Fully automated airlock system that uses water from the ballast system – allowing exiting and entering the sub at any depth of water.
Fully automated flight stabilization with a movement assistance computer for heading holding, altitude holding, and cruise control.
Dual water cannons that automatically spray in a spread wherever the pilot is looking.
The turret and machine guns will help you fight off unwanted enemies.
The crane will help to lift and carry loads.
The turret and machine guns help to fend off unwanted enemies.
Active and passive sonar will help you find fish 🙂
Having a map helps to understand where you are.
The music center is a great helper for relaxation and not only -.-
Loads of equipment for rescue and repair missions.
Extra ports for manual water hoses and refueling on sides and top of craft. Fuel can also be pumped out via the port on top of the vehicle labeled with a ‘-‘ symbol. This allows for refueling of other diesel vehicles or selling extra diesel stored within the craft.
USAGE
This vehicle uses a water jet to fly, so if you don’t spawn it in the water, you’ll need to drive into a body of water to fill the ballast tanks.
Enter the craft through the airlock on the roof.
Proceed straight ahead through the automated door to the pilot seat.
Hop in and use WASD to move forwards, backwards, and steer.
Use UP / DOWN arrows to aim up or down while in the air or in the water.
Hold space to activate a boost to help leave the water or to take off when on land.
OPTIONAL
Press ‘1’ to fill or empty the ballast tanks to remain underwater and to "fuel" the water jet for flight. The ballast tanks will always retain at least 5000 L of fluid even when they are set to empty to power the water jet and water cannons
Press ‘2’ to toggle the movement assistance computer. This will activate cruise control and will hold your elevation or depth as well as your heading.
You may make adjustments by using A / D / UP / DOWN.
Press ‘5’ to toggle the water cannons – they will aim wherever the pilot is looking.
Adjust the throttle limit to set a reasonable max speed for the task at hand (a high throttle limit is much less fuel efficient)
TIPS
Make frequent use of the movement assistance computer (the number ‘2’ key). It’s designed to be quickly enabled and disabled as part of your normal movement and will often save you if you’re out of control.
It’s very possible to tow fairly large ships and other vehicles through the air; there are rope anchors next to the water jet (below the water-line). Just make sure you boost when needed and enable the movement computer for stability.
TECH SPECS
Fuel: 11200 L
Range: ~850km max (flying range at cruising speed)
Range: ~300km (flying at max speed)
Max Speeds (using boost):
Land: 240 mph
Water (Surface): 80 mph
Underwater: 105 mph
Air: 340 mph
Unit Cost: $210k
KNOWN ISSUES
If the battery level is allowed to drop too low (less than around 20%), the generator will not have sufficient power to start back up.
