Undead Legions – yet another Followers of Nagash overhaul
Hello all. This all started as a mod I made for personal use for Warhammer II, which I have now remade for the third installment. It isn’t nearly as cool as the Nagash mod, but I hope you all get some enjoyment out of it all the same.
This is a complete overhaul to Arkhan the Black’s faction, changing him from Tomb King to being a part of the Vampire Counts race. Along with this, he now has more or less complete access to all three undead factions’ rosters, including lords and heroes. At the moment I am still working on getting gunnery wights and necrotects to work, but the rest seem functional.
In terms of mechanics he can raise dead and has access to bloodlines. Units from the different rosters are all buffed by the Vampire Counts tech tree and the respective redline buffs from the different lord types. I did not bother to go through and change descriptions, but the buffs are fairly analogous across role. Ushabti get buffs normally applied to promethians or crypt horrors, tomb guard get grave guard buffs, etc.
Please let me know if there are any bugs you encounter, this is all still very much in beta, so to speak, and is a work in progress. I have not myself completed a campaign with this yet, and had to rebuild the mod from the ground up rather than being able to port it, so I imagine there are a lot of things I may have missed. I also changed his faction colors as I am not a fan of the yellow. Let me know if you do not like the change, or have a suggestion for what colors to use instead.
Also, do be aware this modifies startpos, and is thus unfortunately not compatible with many popular mods.
To – Do’s:
– Necrotect and Gunnery Wights – I never could get this entirely working in II, may be a while
– Mortuary Cult and Tomb King rituals
– lots of bug fixing, I assume.
– names for new lord and hero types, such as bloodline lords
