Remember the Alamo!
Are you tired of Texas losing to Mexico so often? Are you bored of restarting your Texas campaign several times to get past the first month of RNG battles? Do you want to play a historical Mexico game and experience the Santa Anna event yourself? Well, here’s the mod for you.
This mod gives Sam Houston the Expert Defensive Planner and Wrathful (he beat up a guy with a cane once) traits, which should make him significantly more capable of winning battles.
It also changes the Santa Anna Captured event in the following ways:
1. The event can now trigger when there is a player in Mexico.
2. Mexico now has a choice to reject the peace, but Santa Anna dies. The AI will never pick this option.
3. If Texas decides to fight on, they will now kill Santa Anna. The AI will never pick this option.
Does this mean that Texas will win every time? No, but it’s significantly more likely to win now. I don’t recommend this mod if you are playing Mexico and want to reliably annex Texas in the first war without losing Santa Anna.
