Chaos Dwarfs: Hobgoblin Unit Expansion + recruited Goblin and Orc Lord benefits
Note: This mod is very much over powered and probably not lore friendly at all.
This mod does two things and each section is described below.
Please also have a look at the screenshots attached for more information.
1) Add a new set of units to the Chaos Dwarf Hobgoblin Sneaky Gits roster.
It adds the following units:
- Hobgoblin Sneaky Git Infantry: (uses the Night Goblin Infantry unit card)
- Retains poison damage
- Same recruitment and upkeep cost as regular Hobgoblin Sneaky Gits
- All Chaos Dwarf lord buffs will apply
- All buffs from Gorduz will apply
- Retain throwing daggers
- Vanguard, Stalk and Frenzy
- Recruit from Tier 2 Hobgoblin Bivouacs
- Hobgoblin Sneaky Git Archers: (uses the Night Goblin Archer unit card)
- Retains poison damage but arrows now also apply fire damage. This could cause tragedy due to friendly fire. You have been warned 🙂
- Same recruitment and upkeep cost as regular Hobgoblin Sneaky Gits
- All Chaos Dwarf lord buffs will apply
- All buffs from Gorduz will apply
- Vanguard, Stalk and Frenzy
- Recruit from Tier 2 Hobgoblin Bivouacs
What about the AI?
Other Chaos Dwarf factions have not been restricted from using these units.
2) If you are using the excellent Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords mod then:
Any Orc or Goblin lord that you give shelter to after their defeat will apply all of their red line / special buffs to every (including Gorduz) Chaos Dwarf Hobgoblin unit!
Yes that’s right, any Orc or Goblin lord / hero, whether they are legendary or otherwise will apply all buffs that relate to:
- Goblins
- Night Goblins
- Orcs
- Squig Herds
- Trolls
I am probably stretching the boundaries of realism with buffs from Orcs,Squig Herds and Trolls…. but I did say this mod would be over powered.
