Ultimate Flavor Persia

Have you ever wanted to follow the turbulent history of Iran, create the Defenders of The Crescent alliance to stand against the Great Powers, or even divert back to the ancient ways of Persia to revive a third glorious Persian empire?

This behemoth of a flavor mod lets you choose one of these three paths upon game start with tons of new content split between the three of them. Plenty of historical AND alt history content with meaningful and impactful choices. A “Historical Route” tag helps you follow Iran’s history for those wanting to railroad themselves or just learn some history. Over 100 new journal entries and events, but no need to feel overwhelmed as they don’t hit you all at once thanks to the branching paths and a paced progression for each. It feels a lot like a focus tree, but is more interactive thanks to journal entries and decisions.

• Create a unique Defenders of the Crescent diplomatic pact to form alliances
• Build up your fellow Defenders of the Crescent with new modifiers
• Create unrest to force cultural seccessions in Ottoman, Russian, and Egyptian territory
• Help your allies become democracies and recognized

• Reinstate Zoroastrianism as the state religion
• Rebuild the court at Persepolis
• Become the Shah-En-Shah
• Reestablish ancient kingdoms like Babylon, Phoenicia, and Israel

• Starting resources, buildings, and state traits are more accurate for Persia (shoutout to Saint Dave for providing this research)
• Unincorporated states to represent starting decentralization of parts of Iran with accompanying journal entry and modifier
• Zoroastrian pops in Persia and India
• Ottoman’s have a claim on Khuzestan, so be wary of them
• Character conditions for ill, severely ill, deathly ill, and exiled

• Jizya tax is a law and all Muslim countries start with it (don’t be surprised if the papal states enacts this lol)
• Under the right laws or path, Persia’s name can change to Iran or even The Islamic Republic of Iran
• Khanates have a nomads modifier for a huge boost to conscripts
• More random names for Persian culture
• Events for all countries discovering Egalitarianism and Human Rights
• Increased the maximum that negative health detriments can affect a character

This is the first of my Ultimate Flavor series of mods. Don’t expect my other ones to be as big as this cuz it was WAY too much work, but still expect tons of new content. I’m going to be working on other countries in the region as stand alone mods until I have one for every country in the Middle-East and then I’ll put them into one big flavor mod. Then it’ll be onto the next region of the world with likely places being South Asia, China, South America, or North Africa.

I want a flavor mod for every country/region. To do that, I need help. The biggest thing I need are modders. Anyone else who would like to make suggestions for content, do research, or anything else would also be appreciated. Highly doubtful this will work with any overhaul mods as I change a lot of history files. Anything that changes starting building setup, starting pops, state traits and locations, characters for Persia, religion, Middle-Eastern countries, and starting states will cause issues with my mod.
