Rivers Expanded
This mod adds rivers and modifies some already present.
Current changes:
Eastern Europe: Dnieper, Don and tributaries, Kuban, Neman, Daugava, Velikaya and Narva rivers.
Italy: Po river and tributaries, Adige.
Balkans: Drin river.
Turkey and the Levant: added several rivers in Turkey and made slight modifications to the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and their tributaries.
Caucasus and Persia: Kura and tributaries, Sefid-rud, Atrek.
Africa: tens of new rivers in East Africa, Madagascar, Southern Africa and Sub-Saharan West Africa.
South America: dozens of new rivers and modifications to existing ones including Uruguay river and tributaries, Orinoco river and tributaries, Colorado and Rio Negro rivers. Some rivers in South America deviate slightly from their actual course in order to make them better connect with lakes in the base map.
Burma: Irrawaddy river and tributaries, added details to the delta.
Bengal: Brahmaputra river, Ganges river, the Bengal delta has received more scale and detail.
South-East Asia: Chao Phraya river and tributaries, Red River and tributaries, several other minor rivers in nowadays Thailand and Vietnam.
Central Europe and Germany: Ems river, Elbe and Vltava rivers.
Scandinavia: several new rivers and modifications to existing ones between Sweden, Finland and Norway including but not restricted to: Luleälven, Klarälven, Kalixälven, Oulu, Kokemäenjoki and Kemijoki rivers. Some of the new rivers present deviations from their actual course to make them better fit with lakes, cities and coastal features.
Texas: tributaries of the Rio Grande, San Antonio, Guadalupe, Nueces and other rivers.
Great Lakes area: Niagara river, St. Clair and Detroit rivers.
Central Asia: Ural river and tributaries, Syr Darya river.
Levant: Orontes river and tributaries.
Manchuria: Ussuri river and tributaries.
This is meant to be a purely graphic mod. The only modification is to the rivers.png file. As such it should work properly with any mod that doesnt touch the rivers.png file.
I will keep occasionally adding new rivers and modifying existing ones.
